Indian Stock Market: Market Ends the Week in Green; Gains in Banking and Auto Stocks!

On Friday, the Indian stock market experienced a marginally positive trading session, with both the Sensex and Nifty indices ending the day and the week in the green.
In today’s trading, the Indian stock market indices showed a slight increase, with the Sensex rising by 0.29% and Nifty gaining 0.27%.
The Sensex ended the day with a gain of 226.59 points, reaching 78,699.07 points, while the Nifty rose by 63.20 points, closing at 23,813.40 points, marking both the daily and weekly conclusion of trading in positive territory.
In today’s session, stocks in the banking, pharma, media, and auto sectors saw an increase in value.

Among the 30 blue-chip stocks, the following companies saw gains: Mahindra & Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Tata Motors, Bajaj Finserv, Nestle, and ICICI Bank.
On the other hand, stocks from companies such as State Bank of India, Tata Steel, Adani Ports, Zomato, Ultratech Cement, and HCL Tech saw losses.
