US Warns BRICS Nations: 100% Tariffs If US Dollar Is Replaced

Washington: Former US President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to the BRICS nations, including India, stating that if they attempt to replace the US dollar with an alternative currency, the US will impose a 100% tariff.
In a social media post, Trump declared that any attempt by BRICS nations to move away from the US dollar would come to an end. He emphasized that the US will not support the creation of a new BRICS currency or any alternative to the strong US dollar.
“If any country tries to replace the US dollar in international trade or elsewhere, they must be prepared to face heavy tariffs and bid farewell to the US market,” Trump warned in his characteristic style.
To avoid potential economic consequences, Trump has repeatedly opposed the de-dollarization efforts and urged BRICS nations to uphold the dominance of the US dollar in global trade.
