Mumbai: YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial remarks have led to an FIR being filed by the Maharashtra Cyber Department against the YouTube show India’s Got Latent. Around 30 individuals, including participants from the first episode of the show, are being summoned, as confirmed by a department official to PTI.

The controversy arose after Allahbadia’s objectionable comments. The Cyber Cell has registered an FIR and demanded the removal of all 18 episodes of the comedy show.

The investigation revealed that several participants, including judges and guests, used “obscene and offensive language” during the show. As a result, these individuals have been listed for further scrutiny.

Following Allahbadia’s remarks, multiple complaints were filed in Mumbai demanding action. Along with him, others associated with the show, including comedian Samay Raina and Aparv Mukhiya, have been named in the FIR for using offensive language.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) issued summons to the podcaster, comedian Samay Raina, and others involved in the controversy. This action followed after Minister for Women and Child Development, Annapurna Devi, mentioned that the NCW had requested a report on the matter.
