Mahakumbh Mela and 144-Year-Once: Akhilesh Attacks Yogi!
Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, has once again targeted the Yogi government over the arrangements for the Mahakumbh Mela, especially after the stampede incidents in Prayagraj and New Delhi railway station.
He questioned the claim that such an event happens once every 144 years, accusing the government of misleading people.
Akhilesh questioned the logic behind stating that the Mahakumbh Mela is occurring after 144 years, asking from which date they are calculating this period. He emphasized that in Hinduism, the positions of stars and time are crucial, and that such events have been happening for centuries. He mocked the government’s attempt to glorify the event under the name of Mahakumbh, suggesting that it is being used for political and financial gain rather than as a purely religious gathering.
Akhilesh also criticized the Yogi administration for organizing religious events for profit. He pointed out that while the Chief Minister claims a ₹2 lakh crore business, the reality is that many businesses, especially those setting up stalls at the Mela, are facing losses. He mentioned that shopkeepers at the event were unable to sell their goods and have incurred heavy financial losses.
“There is no word called MAHAKUMBH. Word ‘MAHA’ is added by BJP just to extort lot of money with this name”
Akhilesh Yadav once again mocks faith of Hindus. Proves again that all CHINDIs “HATE” Hindus & Hinduism.
