Fraud Allegation: Arrest Warrant Issued Against Former Cricketer Robin Uthappa
Robin Uthappa, a former cricketer, was running a private company named Centuries Lifestyle Brand Pvt. Ltd. Allegations have surfaced that he defrauded several employees of the company by not paying their Provident Fund (PF) contributions.
The arrest warrant was issued in connection with the case where Uthappa is accused of withholding the PF money, which was deducted from the salaries of employees but not deposited into their accounts, amounting to ā¹23 lakh.

Taking the matter seriously, the PF Regional Commissioner, Shadakshari Gopal Reddy, wrote to the Pulakeshinagar Police on December 4, requesting the arrest of Robin Uthappa.
The police had visited Uthappaās residence to serve a notice, but he was not found at that address. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued. Robin Uthappa, who is currently based in Dubai, may be required to return to Bangalore due to the ongoing caseĀ againstĀ him.
