Good news from NASA: Astronauts Sunita and Butch to return to Earth soon

NASA has announced that Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams and her space companion Butch Wilmore might return to Earth sooner than expected. Instead of April, NASA sources have indicated that they may return by the end of March or mid-March. This is about two weeks earlier than previously announced.
NASA also revealed on Tuesday that SpaceX will be replacing the capsules for upcoming crewed missions. This change is related to the reassignment of the spacecraft for SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission.
Sunita Williams had gone to space in the first week of June and had only been there for a week. However, there were technical issues with her spacecraft, which led to a delay in her return. Later, SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, announced the return of both astronauts.
“Human space missions are filled with unexpected challenges,” said NASA’s commercial crew program manager Steve Stitch in a statement.
Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore will return aboard the SpaceX Crew-9 capsule, which has been at the space station since September 29. However, NASA has decided that the Crew-9 capsule cannot return to Earth until the Crew-10 spacecraft arrives at the station.
The space agency mentioned that they are working quickly to bring them back as soon as possible.
