In the case of techie Atul Subhash’s suicide, three people have been arrested. Atul’s wife, Nikita, was arrested in Gurugram, Haryana, while his aunt Nisha and relative Anurag were arrested in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The arrests were made by the Marathahalli police in Bengaluru. Nikita, the prime accused, Nisha, and Anurag were brought to Bengaluru late at night after their arrests.

The police had gone to Uttar Pradesh to capture Nisha and Anurag, and soon after, Atul’s aunt and relative fled their home.

The arrested individuals were presented in court and sent to 14 days of judicial custody.

Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old techie, died by suicide on December 9th in Bengaluru’s Manjunath Layout. Before taking his life, Atul left a death note and recorded a 90-minute video describing the harassment he faced from his wife and her relatives. He shared the video on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). A case was registered at Marathahalli police station following this incident.
