Sunday night’s season opener at Orchard Park ended with one memory that will long be remembered: the last moments of one of the most exciting games in recent memory. With under four minutes left down by 15 points, the Buffalo Bills provided a thrilling football finish and inspired action during the last moments of the game. They finished their game winning rally with a walk-off 32-yard field goal from kicker Matt Prater in his debut with the Bills in a 41–40 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Bills vs Ravens 2025 Comeback: The Bills’ Stunning Rally

Buffalo offense led by MVP Josh Allen was firing on all cylinders after Lamar Jackson and the potent Ravens offense had dominated the game. The Bills went to a 16-point run that no one saw with less than four minutes.

Buffalo started on their own 20-yard line and only had a 1:26 on the game clock when Josh Allen threw two incredibly deep passes to the Ravens 9 yard line. The first throw was a 32-yard catch to Joshua Palmer and then a 25-yard pass to Keon Coleman.

After 3 account kneel downs from Allen, Prater in his debut for Buffalo drilled the go-ahead field goal through the uprights for the win as time expired.

Allen’s Thrilling Performance

Josh Allen finished an exceptional night with 394 passing yards, passing for two touchdowns, and with two more scored by his legs. His poise in the final pressure situations allowed the Bills to complete the comeback.

Ravens Put It All Out There

Baltimore had the offensive firepower tonight: Derrick Henry had a traditional 169 yards on the ground (and two touchdowns); he was almost impossible to contain. Lamar Jackson accounted for three touchdowns (two of which were by air), while wideouts like Zay Flowers and DeAndre Hopkins, both had huge plays on multiple occasions.

Nevertheless, a key late-game fumble by Henry, that was forced by Ed Oliver, changed momentum and led to the Bills’ comeback. The Ravens controlled the game for most of it, but seemed to come up short when it mattered the most.
