Trump-Trudeau Conflict:
The Trump administration imposed tariffs on Canada, Mexico, and China, potentially leading to inflation and trade conflicts.
“We don’t want this, but Canada is ready for everything. I will address Canadians about this matter later this evening,” Trudeau stated.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his social media platform, Truth Social, that a 25% tariff would be imposed on imports from Canada and Mexico, citing concerns over illegal immigration, fentanyl trafficking, and other issues. Additionally, a 10% tariff would be placed on goods from China.
