With this innings, he crossed 16,025 runs in all formats in Asia, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar’s record. Tendulkar had scored 16,000 international runs in Asia in 353 innings, while Kohli achieved this feat in just 340 innings. Kohli is now the fourth highest run-scorer in Asia.
