Indian-Origin Woman Kills 11-Year-Old Son During Disneyland Trip

New York: A horrifying incident has come to light in California, USA, where an Indian-origin woman brutally killed her 11-year-old son.
48-year-old Sarita Ramraju took her son on a three-day trip to Disneyland. However, it was discovered that she strangled her son to death in a hotel there. After killing her son, she attempted suicide by ingesting pills, according to the police. She was immediately hospitalized, but unfortunately, her son could not be saved.
Sarita Ramraju had divorced her husband in 2018. The child was in his father’s custody. A few days ago, she met her son and told him she would take him on a trip, and they left together.
They had purchased a three-day pass for Disneyland. The child was happily traveling with his mother. They stayed at a hotel in Santa Ana and were supposed to return on March 19. The father was supposed to take custody of the child after that, but before that, this tragedy occurred.
Interestingly, after killing her son, Sarita herself called the police and reported the incident. The motive behind the murder is still unclear, but investigations are ongoing.

According to an NBC report, Prakash Raju mentioned that he was born and raised in Bangalore, India. The couple divorced in January 2018, and custody of their son was awarded to Raju. Court documents show that Sarita Ramraju had visitation rights.
