**Israel-Gaza War Ending? Hamas Agrees to Draft Ceasefire and Hostage Release Agreement**

The war between Israel and Hamas has reached a point where a ceasefire is being considered. Officials have stated that Hamas has agreed to a draft agreement regarding a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages. Israel is also expected to consider the agreement. On Monday, officials had shared information about the ceasefire talks. They acknowledged the progress in the negotiations, stating that the coming days will be crucial to end this war that has destabilized much of Western Asia.

In response, Israel began airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, targeting Hamas leaders and destroying its financial infrastructure. Subsequently, talks began regarding a ceasefire. Now, Hamas has agreed to the ceasefire, and efforts are being made by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar to mediate and ensure the hostages’ release. There are still about 100 Israeli hostages in Gaza, and the military believes that at least a third of them may have died.

An official involved in the talks mentioned that progress was made overnight, and a draft of the proposed agreement has been presented. Israeli and Hamas negotiators are now sending it to their leaders for final approval. Gulf state Qatar has exerted new pressure on Hamas to accept the agreement. Meanwhile, appointed President Donald Trump’s envoy, Steve Vitkoff, is also reportedly putting pressure on Israel.
