Washington: On his visit to the United States, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with US National Security Advisor (NSA) Mike Waltz on Thursday.
Sharing the details of the meeting on social media platform X, Modi stated that the meeting with Mike Waltz was productive. He mentioned that Waltz has always been one of India’s best friends, and that defense, technology, and security are crucial pillars of India-US relations. They had great discussions on these topics.
He also mentioned that they discussed strengthening cooperation in areas such as AI, semiconductors, space, and other fields.

Later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Musk has been leading the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in Washington, D.C.
Musk arrived at Blair House with his three young children. When he met Modi, his children were also present. It is believed that discussions took place regarding Starlink’s satellite internet initiative in India and the potential establishment of a Tesla factory in the country.

The Indian government has shown interest in expanding the country’s technological infrastructure, and Musk’s ventures may play a crucial role in these efforts. Musk, a key figure in the Trump administration, was expected to visit India last year, but the trip was eventually canceled.
