New Delhi: Tomorrow, the funeral of Manmohan Singh; arrangements for the final public viewing at AICC headquarters

Leaders, putting aside party differences, paid their final respects to the mortal remains of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, draped in the tricolor flag. His wife Gursharan Kaur and other family members were present during the ceremony.

Prime Minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi, and several other prominent leaders paid their respects to the late leader’s body.

New Delhi: On Friday, the mortal remains of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, who passed away yesterday, were honored at his residence. President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and several others paid their last respects.

Leaders from across party lines came together to offer their tributes to the mortal remains, which were draped in the tricolor flag. Singh’s wife Gursharan Kaur and other family members were present during the ceremony.

The family is waiting for Singh’s daughter, who is in the United States, to arrive. The final rites will take place tomorrow after her arrival. Until then, the public can pay their respects at his residence in New Delhi.

Tomorrow, at 8 AM, the mortal remains will be brought to the AICC headquarters. Public viewing will be available from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. After that, the final procession will begin at 9:30 AM, as informed by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal.

In order to pay tribute to the late Prime Minister, a Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting will be held today at 5:30 PM at the AICC headquarters, which will be attended by CWC members, regular members, and special invitees.

K.C. Venugopal also mentioned that Dr. Manmohan Singh’s passing is an irreplaceable loss to the nation, and his contributions to the people and the country’s development will always be revered.
