Prime Minister Modi receives a warm welcome from French President Emmanuel Macron: Participates in AI Summit today

Paris: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Paris, France, last night for a three-day visit. Before co-chairing the AI Action Summit today, he was warmly welcomed by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Prime Minister Modi shared this on his X account, expressing happiness at meeting his friend President Macron in Paris. Modi is in France to attend the AI Summit. As he arrived in France, the Indian community there gave him a special welcome. At a dinner last night, French President Emmanuel Macron greeted Modi with a warm embrace.
At the dinner, Prime Minister Modi also met with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, who is attending the AI Summit in France. This was shared by the Prime Minister’s Office on their X account.
As the first phase of his two-country visit, Prime Minister Modi is in Paris, where he will co-chair the AI Action Summit with President Macron, hold bilateral talks, and address business leaders. From there, he will travel to the United States.
In Paris, he received an incredible and memorable welcome from the Indian community. “I am grateful to our expatriate Indians and proud of their achievements,” he wrote.

Modi and Macron will have limited and delegation-level discussions, and Modi will also address the India-France CEO Forum. According to the Prime Minister, the bilateral talks will provide an opportunity to review the progress of the India-France strategic partnership and the roadmap for 2047, which will be discussed with his friend President Macron.
Prime Minister Modi’s visit to France is his sixth visit to the country, as confirmed by officials.
