Anita Anand and Others in the Race for Canada’s Next Prime Minister!

A new Prime Minister will be elected on March 24.
Summary:
Anita Anand, who has been serving as the Minister of Transportation in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet, is being strongly considered for the position of Prime Minister. With Prime Minister Trudeau’s resignation on Monday, it has become necessary to elect a new leader.
Trudeau, who has held the position for nearly ten years, faced internal opposition within his own party, leading to this development. The new Prime Minister will be chosen on March 24. Along with Anita Anand, other names in the race include Dominic LeBlanc, Chrystia Freeland, Mélanie Joly, François-Philippe Champagne, and Marc Garneau.
