Sexuality Controversy: Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina Issued Summons by Mumbai Police

Mumbai: Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia and comedian Samay Raina have been issued summons by Mumbai Cyber Crime Police on Monday regarding controversial statements they made about parents and sexuality during the YouTube reality show India’s Got Talent.
Samay Raina had previously requested to record his statement virtually, but the Cyber and Information Security department rejected his plea and instructed him to appear for questioning on February 18, according to an officer.
After Raina’s inappropriate comments about parents and sexuality during his web show, India’s Got Talent, several cases were filed against him, Ranveer Allahbadia, and others.
Ranveer Allahbadia, a popular YouTuber, has also been issued a notice by the Maharashtra Police. He has been instructed to appear for questioning on February 24, the officers confirmed.
Earlier, Cyber Crime officers had issued a summons to Allahbadia, asking him to appear before the police, but he failed to do so. Now, another summons has been issued, requiring him to appear on February 24.

Previously, Mumbai Police had instructed Samay Raina to appear for questioning before the Khar police by February 17. However, he informed them that he was abroad for a program.
