Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump, who played a significant role in the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, has now announced plans for the United States to take control of the Gaza Strip.
U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that the U.S. will take control of the Gaza Strip, the region that has been at the center of the long-standing Israel-Palestine conflict. Trump made this announcement during a joint appearance with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was present when the statement was made.
After a meeting with Netanyahu during his visit to the U.S., Trump revealed his plans. The statement has sparked significant curiosity, as the announcement was made shortly after Trump took office as the new U.S. president. Trump discussed the matter with Netanyahu in the White House, bringing up the idea of the U.S. taking control of Gaza. He mentioned that under a redevelopment plan, the U.S. would take possession of the Gaza Strip.
Under this redevelopment plan, Palestinians would be relocated elsewhere, and the Gaza Strip would be taken over by the U.S. Trump stated that this plan would transform the region into an “Enclave” or “Middle East Riviera.” He emphasized that the U.S. would work with Gaza after taking control.
