Tarun is not an ISKCON priest, and his death was not due to communal violence: Bangladesh
The Bangladesh government has refuted allegations made by Kolkata ISKCON Vice President Radharaman Das regarding the murder of a Hindu community member in Bangladesh.
Dhaka: Bangladesh has clarified that Tarun, who recently fell victim to violence, was not an ISKCON priest, and his death was not due to communal violence. Instead, the government stated that Tarun’s death occurred in connection with a theft case, not communal unrest.
Radharaman Das had previously shared a video on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), alleging that “Tarun Kumar Das, identified as a Hindu priest, was tortured and murdered by tying his hands and feet in Bangladesh.” This statement had sparked widespread outrage in India.
